The Challenge
How can we make building a website using a drag and drop platform a pleasurable experience? The goals are to provide ongoing support as people build on the platform, and reduce bounce rate.
The Solution
"Bottie" the Bot needs to have an amusing, but helpful personality, be trained with NLP, and be able to handle many different Personas.

Information Architecture is so important to chatbot design. In this instance, most people come to Peregrine Naturals to buy specific items or browse, and the chatbot is there to guide them to the correct product.
I sketched the organization of the store, so that my user flows account for all pathways.
User flows in the process of being connected. Peregrine Naturals has two main goals: to get people to the labeled products pages, and make adding to the cart easy.

"Let's Roll" Prototype, made in Adobe XD
"Let's Roll" Brazilian Juijitsu App Design-Google Nest Hub
The Challenge
Brazilian Juijitsui practitioners are a very devoted and passionate subset of martial arts practitioners. There are countless instructional videos made by famous fighters, and live videos of them at competition.
Most of those training in BJJ have full-time jobs or family responsibilities. They need an easy way to access this online training, and to sort through styles and fighters. Voice Design makes this more easily accessible.
My Role
UX Research, Visual Design, Voiceflows, Persona, Storyboards, Prototype.
Timeline
3 Days
The Solution
A voice app would help BJJ students sort, watch, and learn from these videos. You can ask for specific fighters or specific tactics you'd like to learn about.

Persona
Brazilian Juijitsu tends to have a very specific type of practitioner, and they often become very passionate about practicing as often as possible.
They also have enough income to be able to afford the monthly fees, tournament fees, expensive Gi's, and other expenses. They see all this as an investment in developing their skill.

Voiceflow
Once I knew who the design was for, I started to create the voiceflows that would structure the prototype, and allow me to visualize the intents and entities.

Reflections & Next Steps
It's been helpful to look at the standalone prototype for "Let's Roll." Seeing how it works this way makes it easier for my next step, which will be to program it into Google Dialogueflow and make it a live conversational skill. I've also begun User Experience Testing with the members of a local Brazilian Juijitsu gym, in order to refine the content and usability.
